Amersad was created as an informational, inspirational and productive venue for Seniors & the Disabled. Conceived by D. Selke Bouffard, Amerasad took over a year to develop and is growing every day.

Amerasad's seed was planted when, founder, Ms. Bouffard was unable to maintain her brick & mortar shop due to back complications. After several surgeries and further complications, Ms. Bouffard was forced to be at home, unable to drive. Ensuing medical problems led to her disability in 2003. It was then she realized her town's lack of public transportation as well as local disability services. She then began her quest to find a means to provide support for the disabled.

Several years following Ms. Bouffard's mother, a senior living in another state, endured a tragic fall in which she broke her hip and wrist. After a few months of state to state caretaking, her mother made the decision to make Ms. Bouffard's home her own. Ms. Bouffard was now faced with, not only her own disability concerns, but the concerns of a parent. Each process from poor insurance choices, to unskilled nursing facilities, inadequate rehabilitation  and physician incompetence led Ms. Bouffard to add seniors needs to her cause. We are pleased to have had Mom allow us the use of her beautiful hands for our logo. Thank you Mom!

We at Amerasad are dedicated to provide information and resources to better the lives of both Seniors and the Disabled. We hope to become your total resource center. You are Amersad! Your participation, questions, concerns, hopes and dreams are Amerasad. We promise to work with you to provide quality care and services to better, not only, your lives but the lives of those who love you.

We look forward to working with each of you in making Amerasad work for you!

Best Wishes &  WarmRegards ,
